Thing about this space is not so much what's going on inside it, but the fact that it's looked down upon by a whole lotta people.

Getting there
The 100 First building is located on the south corner of 1st and Mission Street. The steps leading to the site can be found on the right side of the main entrance of the building, which is along Mission Street. Proceed up the stairs to discover the lush sun terrace.

     
 

Surveillance & Gatekeepers
There is no blatant security enforcement to be found on the site but security might be able to view the site through the many windows facing the terrace from the main building. Since this space is so well used, inappropriate behavior will most likely be handled or reported by the users of the space.
     
 

Local Dress & Behavior
The environment and behavior in this site is very relaxed. Business boardroom clothing to street casual clothing is well received in this atmosphere. Feel free to take a nap along the elevated grass strips scattered throughout the site. Eating lunch, socializing, and cell phone use are all more than accepted here. If smoking, be careful where it is done since the space is usually well used and therefore crowded during lunch hours.
