Getting there
If visiting this poetry and sculpture garden for the first time, be sure to enter through the corridor that is on Fremont Street for the full experience. Stroll down the path adjacent to the decorated wall with a poetic scripture and proceed to the plaza in front of 199 Fremont. There is also another entrance closer to the main doors of the building on Howard Street.

Surveillance & Gatekeepers
Once in the space, multiple security personnel will most likely keep an eye out through the glass walls once they realize that you’re not going inside the building. Doing anything out of the ordinary such as hopping on the stones, photographing the space, or putting your bicycle in the wrong place will cause security to come out and ‘secure’ the area.

Local Dress & Behavior
Although this is an outdoor space, don’t expect to any outdoor type of activities since security is tight. People seem to often only use the space very briefly for activities such as smoking or cell phone use. Since there are no tables, eating or conversing may be uncomfortable and awkward in the space.
