Paraformances

  Campari-colored public space

The techie worker bees at CNet have a good deal: cush couch with either a super minimalist art piece on the wall, or a dry-erase board--I can't quite tell. (Unfortunately, the cush couch area isn't actually part of the "public" space.)

There's an expanse of shiny tables in the lobby too that would be perfect for a Campari and soda (which would go well with the color scheme).

Getting there
To find this space, look for the large glass façade of the Cnet building on 2nd and Tehama Street. The outdoor sitting area as well as the space inside the lobby is open to the public.

Surveillance & Gatekeepers
Even though there is only one camera located above the main entrance doors, security has full view of the lobby and outdoor area. If you happen to go inside, be aware of the warning that is posted on the glass wall that indicates you that you will be subject to surveillance monitoring and recording.

Local Dress & Behavior
Formal business to casual clothing is more than accepted in this stylish and modern environment. Although many people that use this space are business oriented, seeing a street casual individual using this space would be far from their worries.
