  Streamers (from Calvin)

Being that this place is cold, damp, and dark, I'd imagine excitement and color being introduced into this space. Perhaps using something like colorful party streamers to decorate the pillars and handrails on the front stairwell will draw people into the space. Then attach more streamers along the building and the adjacent supporting columns at the height of arms reach in a zigzag pattern using tape. Since the ceiling of this space is about 35 feet high, this will make this plaza feel more cozy, colorful, and lively. Doing the rear of the space first and then the front stairwell on the way out might be ideal for a cleaner getaway.

Getting there
This space is actually neighboring the building of 600 California at 650 California. Found mid-block between Grant and Kearny Street, this rather large space surrounds the lower level of a corporate building. One can access this site by walking up the main stairs to the main door. If one desires to take the road less traveled, there is a unique stairwell on the right side of the main stairs which leads to an art sculpture at the side of the site.

Surveillance & Gatekeepers
Security guards are not present on site but there is an array of tiny cameras covering every angle of the space.

Local Dress & Behavior
This area is primarily used for smoking and brief cell phone use. Since this space is so dark and empty, simple activities such as eating lunch and being alone may seem to be unusual. Business boardroom to business casual clothing seem to be the norm in this corporate plaza.
